The Beautiful Baker Family

Meet the Baker family. I have gotten to know them through several sessions we've done over the past year or two and they are one of my favorite families (I'm allowed to have favorites, aren't I?)

For this session, we went over to OU. This was a major sacrifice on their part being SERIOUS OSU fans (we try to not let that affect our relationship!)...but Heather was a good sport and said she would make the sacrifice for great, Fall portraits. And of course I arrived on campus to see them all in ORANGE! It worked beautifully with the vibrant colors of Fall and the beautiful weather we had at the time.

I had the best time with this family and we got some great shots. My favorite is when Braden decided he would take MY picture with a stick he found to use as his camera (see last image, below.) What an imagination!

Sessions like these make me wish we could have the beauty of Autumn all year round. ;)

Bridal Bliss!

Thanks to all of the brides, grooms, mothers, and friends who came out to the bridal show today!  I had a ball meeting all of you and chatting about your wedding plans. I am so excited about all my 2010 weddings!

Bridal Show SUNDAY!

Lovin the Country

 By no means have I ever been a "country girl", however it seems that lately I have been inspired by the Oklahoma landscape. My best gal pal, Lana, came to me with the idea to do an all-out country session at her friend's land in Minco. So I put on my country best (the flip-flops were a mistake by the way!) and headed out to God's country. We had the best time taking pictures with pipe-rail fences, horsies, rusty trailers and tractors, and a good old dirt road! By the end, I was super sweaty, chigger-eaten, and reeked of horse manure! But all said, I had a blast and I think we got some great shots. Maybe I am a true “country girl” at heart.
